The way I read it is you can't really win anything unless you "raise money" or "make a donation" of a certain amount. It does appear that you actually can play for free, but I think a lot of people would feel bad without coming up with some kind of subsequent donation. I would definitely be interested in playing though. That is my kind of entry fee!
