Me and my dad went on a golf trip this weekend and got a few rounds of golf in along with some gambling at the casinos.

First round was at Mirimichi golf course in Millington, TN. It is just outside of Memphis. Many people know this course because Justin Timberlake bought it a while back and put like $20 million dollars into the renovation. He sold it a few years ago. The course is fantastic. Regular rate is $73 or $63 twilight. The course conditions were great. Tee to green was well maintained Bermuda/zoysia mix with tons of wildlife areas and water hazards. The greens were really really good. Very fast and smooth as silk. Maybe my favorite greens that I have ever putted on. Course layout is fun and challenging. The front nine is pretty straight forward with mostly straight, well bunkered holes and a few lakes. The back nine is much more adventurous with more elevation changes. This is my second time playing and if I am ever near the area I will definitely stop again.

Second round was at Tunica National golf resort. Beautiful place. The course has a ton of water hazards and its tough to shoot a good score. Greens were fast and firm and very smooth. The course is mostly flat. Not a ton of trees on the course but there are some small pines that line several holes. Regular rate is $60 with $48 twilight.

Our third round was at River Bend Links just outside of Tunica. Another nice course. Didn't know what to expect because it was much cheaper than the other two. We paid $25 twilight. Definitely a links style course with very few trees if any. Mostly just the tall grass and water hazards. The greens were nice and fast...maybe not as smooth as the other courses but very playable. I would definitely play again for that price.
